Work philosophy
Being a mother of four, even daily life isn't easy. I excel when there is a challange, I put more effort into it and am more proud of the final result because I learned something in the process. When things are easy, I feel you do not get as much out of it.
Always strive to learn atleast one thing new each day in whatever task you have to do. Do not be afraid to ask questions, you cannot understand or evolve if you don't. Always be proud of your work and do the best that you can. You won't always be rewarded, but YOU will always know you gave it your all.

My thoughts on drafting and design
When I first started out on this journey to go back to school I had no clue what field of drafting to go into. I have a pretty good understanding of most of the fields as of now. I like architecture, its easy for me to pick up, I understand the logic of what needs to be done on a project and it is fulfilling to know that when you are finished with a project you helped someone with a wonderful idea.
My favorite field has to be engineering. I thought I would dislike this one the most since I have no knowledge of mechanical things. I absolutely love the challange that goes along with these projects, the thought processes that must be used when drawing the various parts and having to figure out how the many parts fit together.

Architecture I
Descriptive Geometry

This was an interesting class, I learned a lot about geometry, vectors and bearings for examples. The best part was we got to choose our own final project. I decided on designing a spinning wheel. This project was a huge challenge, I learned a tremendouse amount about autocad 3D and am very glad I took it on.
Engineering I

When I first started this class I was sure I wasn't going to like it. As soon as we started drawing mechanical things, I fell in love. It was challanging and taught me how to troubleshoot my problems. Our final project for Engineering I was a gear reducer, Here are samples of my work for this project. On the top is a High Speed Shaft and on the bottom is a Motor Adaptor.

Engineering Graphics II
Learning new programs can be challenging, however, Inventor was amazingly easy and fun. My final project for this class was a Drill Guide
